Pet Microchip Identification
Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer the most widely used microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery. The microchip is placed under your pet's skin between their shoulder blades at the base of the neck. The microchip is read when a special scanner is passed over the area of the microchip. When scanned, your pet's personal individual microchip number will show. When a veterinary clinic/shelter/police station reads a microchip, no personal information, either about the owner or the animal, is contained within the chip itself, nor is the microchip GPS-enabled. The microchip brand and compancy we use (HomeAgain) and other microchip companies use the unique ID number to locate the pet owner’s information. For a low one time payment, your pet can receive a microchip that will remain registered and in place for their entire life. Pets can be implanted with a microchip at any age, however, the time of spay/neuter is a very common time many owners choose to have a microchip placed.
